                      Salmon in Mushroom Gravy






Ingredients: 

For Salmon Marination

1. Raw salmon 6 big pieces /fillets

2. Yellow mustard 1 and 1/2 tbsp

3. Olive oil  1 tbs

4. Sweet & Sour Sauce 2 tsp

5. Jalapeno 1 tbsp

6. Onion sliced 1/4th cup

7. 1 lime slice and Lemon juice  1 tsp

8. Salt to taste or 1/2 tsp

9. Garlic powder 1/2 tbsp

10. Oil spray

11. Black pepper 1/4th tsp


For Mushroon gravy preparation

  1. 1lb sliced mushroom

  2. Butter 1 tbsp

  3. 1/3 rd cup garlic/onion slice

  4. 1/2 tbsp Minced garlic

  5. Dried parsley 1 tsp

  6. Chili Powder 1/2 tsp

  7. All Purpose Flour 1 tbsp

  8. Lemon juice 1 tbsp

  9. Vegetable broth 1 cup

 10. Thai grass 

 11. Heavy whipping cream 1/2 cup

 12. 1/4 th tsp black pepper

 13. 1 tsp Sweet & Sour sauce

 14.  Lemon skin & Fresh Parsley chopped 2 tbsp

 15.  Sour cream 1 tbsp

 


Procedure: 

Salmon marination & baking

1. Wash the salmon pieces. Set directly in a baking tray.

2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl-- Mustard, olive oil,  garlic powder,  salt, black pepper, sweet & sour sauce. 

3. Mix the raw gravy with the pieces of salmon.

4. Now add Slice of sliced Jalapeno & onion.

5. Oil spray overall .

6. Squeeze lemon,  discard the seeds.

7. 1 tsp sweet & sour sauce on top.

8.  Cover the tray with Aluminium foil.

9. Directly set inside electric oven .

11. No need to wait for marination, no preheating is needed.

12. Set temperature 450 F for 20 min and Bake.

13. After 20 minutes. Done.

14. Chang the sides of all salmon fillets.

15. Bake again just for 5 min.

18. After 5 min ready to serve.

19. Mixed with the prepared Mushroom gravy and Enjoy with rice.




Mushroom Gravy Preparation:

1.  In a pan maintain medium heat - add 1 tbs butter followed by 1/3 rd cup onion/garlic slice. I don't want to make it brown just soften it. After couple of minutes add mushroom slice with chili powder and dried parsley. Cover with lid. Wait 10 minutes.

2. In the meantime with a peeler, collect lemon zest from a 1/3 rd yellow lemon and chop it with 1 fresh parsley. So, 2tbs chopped lemon skin and parsley i got.

3. After 10 minutes check the slice of mushrooms are soften or not. After at least 80% softening happens, add  lemon juice & all purpose flour and immediately stir it . Don't let it to form any lumps.

4. Now add vegetables broth 1 cups but little by little and lemon grass. Wait 5 min until boiling.

5. After boiling occurs, now add 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 tsp sweet & sour sauce. 

6. Switch off the stove. 

7. After couple of minutes when it is still warm just add the final ingredients 1 tbsp sour cream. Mix thoroughly.

8. Now its done. 


Final Step: 

Mix the Mushroom Gravy with baked Salmon fillets and enjoy with rice. (See the video - link is given below)
