Pasta Salad With Bow-tie (farfalle)



Ingredients

1. 6 to 8 oz Bow-tie pasta (farfalle)

2. 1 and half cup Cucumber slice

3. Grated Carrot 1/2 cup

4. 1/2 of a Red Onion (as desired)

5. Frozen corn 1/3 rd cup

6. Mint leaves 1/4 th cup

7. Slice of a lemon 1 tsp

8. 3 Sliced Green Chilies 

9. Mayonnaise 2 to 3 tbs

10. Yellow Mustard 1 tsp

11. Sweet Relish 2 to 3 tbs

12. Thai Sweet Chili Sauce 1 tbs

13. Salt 1/4 tsp during boiling 
      and 1/4 th tsp during mixing (salt to taste)

14. Black Pepper 1/4 th tsp

15. Water 3 to 4 cups for boiling pasta


Procedure

Step 1

Boil 3 cup of water or more. Add salt to make the lightly salted water and cook the bow-tie pasta at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite about 12 minutes, and then drain. Wait for it to cool down or rinse cold water to the cooked pasta.

Step 2

Get prepared all the salad items like peeling & slicing cucumber, carrot, red onion, green chilies. Take the frozen corn from freezer at least 12 minutes before mixing. 

Step 3

Mix all the salads and herb-mint leaves with the boiled pasta. And add one by one like Mayonnaise, yellow mustard, sweet relish, lemon juice, Thai sweet chili sauce. Amount of these ingredients depend on the taste. Finally add little salt and black pepper.

Step 4

Gently mix everything together and toss to coat evenly.

Step 5

Ready to serve and best goes with fried or grilled chicken.
